Appearance
Customize how the app looks and feels to match your preferences.
Theme
On iPhone & iPad The app supports multiple color themes and appearance modes:
- Mode: Choose between System (follows your device's appearance), Dark, or Light.
- Colors: Select from a variety of color themes to customize the app's accent color throughout the interface.
The theme preview at the top shows how your selected theme looks with sample cards.
Score Control
Choose how the Score Control looks in study sessions, and which score comes first.
Use Style to pick the control:
- On iPhone Gauge (the default) or Buttons.
- On iPad Buttons (the default) or Bar.
- On foldable iPhone Bar (the default) or Buttons.
- On Mac The score control is always Buttons, so there is no Style to pick.
Each device keeps its own Style. Changing it on your iPhone doesn't change it on your iPad.
Gauge Direction
On iPhone With Gauge selected, choose a Direction:
- Inverted: Easy on the left, Don't Know on the right.
- Natural: Don't Know on the left, Easy on the right.
Score Buttons Direction
With Buttons selected, use the Inverted switch below the preview to choose the order of the buttons:
- On: Easy comes first. This is the default.
- Off: Don't Know comes first.
On Mac Use Score Buttons Direction: in General settings.
The button order syncs through iCloud, so it's the same on your iPhone, iPad and Mac. It's separate from the gauge direction: changing one doesn't change the other.
